Dist:0.7km<br/>A perfectly proportioned little building opposite the church, Grade II listed in 2005 this is the former village schoolroom. Built in the mid C19 of red brick it has a brick plinth and a Welsh slate roof. It has a complete set of cast-iron diamond-lattice windows set in limestone surrounds. The front facing the road has a projecting gabled porch. Inside the single space has an open hammer-beam roof . This is an unaltered example of a small schoolroom of the period with a complete set of original windows and surviving interior and as such is very unusual.
