Dist:0.3km<br/>The Cheltenham & Banbury Direct Railway once ran through where the double garage now is. This was originally the crossing keepers house, built in the 1930s. There was a halt and a siding on the railway which was known as Sarsden Halt (it was not called Churchill as there was another station named Churchill near Kidderminster). The entire area is now known as Sarsden Halt.

Dist:0.3km<br/>Seen from the minor road, the mill is now a grade II listed building. The history of the mill is interesting because it was purchased by Kingham Hill Homes (now Kingham Hill School) when it was being built to prevent delays to the horse-drawn vehicles from the school which accessed the siding via the mill yard. Access was liable to be prevented, for example when the miller was operating a threshing machine in the yard.

Dist:0.4km<br/>The chancel (now the Churchill Heritage Centre) is all that remains of the church of All Saints built in 1348 on the site of a Saxon church. It was originally at the centre of the village, but after a fire in 1684, the village was rebuilt up the hill. A new church was built and consecrated in 1827. The chancel of the old church was retained and used as a mortuary chapel.
