This is not the footpath shown on the map which is a little further west; this track appears to give access to fields further along the railway, and may well also be used by Network Rail.

The sun is low and the shadows long.In the top right hand corner the large building on the horizon was the Vulcan engineering works where many locomotives were once built and many people earnt a living. This has sadly shut and is now but a memory.
