Dist:0.2km<br/>Although there may have been an earlier building, the present chapel was started by Sir Roger Bodenham, a Catholic convert, of Rotherwas House in 1583. The tower, however, dates from the 18th century and the chancel from the 19th century. The house was demolished in 1926 but the chapel has survived, now in the care of English Heritage. Although in no sense remote, the site has a strangely isolated feel about it.

Building of the chapel was begun in 1583 by Roman Catholic convert, Sir Roger Bodenham. The tower with its unusual spire dates from the 18th century and the chancel the 19th century.

Dist:0.3km<br/>A rather unusual sight on the banks of the River Wye a mile or so downstream from Hereford is this 150ft Dutch Barge. The barge was somehow brought up the river in 1990, the aim was to moor it in Hereford as a floating restaurant.
