We start the class with the interactive story of the week. This term our theme is “People Who Help Us” and so each week the children hear a different story- with lots of characters that they love pretending to be like fairies, pirates, princesses and goblins! After the story they go on an adventure, sing some songs (about caterpillars turning into butterflies etc..) and learn some dances! The hour is crammed with games and everything is done in a real fun and imaginative way.... encouraging the children to just be children. At the end of each term we invite the mums and dads to come and watch what we have been doing in class. At least once a year (usually at Christmas time) we put on a show! We used them for a move and storage this year and, not only did they do an apalling job - careless packing; unmarked boxes; damaged antique furniture; damaged bookcases; broken plates; broken ornaments; broken toys; failure to rebuild furniture they had broken down as promised; unhappy packing staff; unresponsive management - they took payment from me without approval, even though I had asked for a breakdown in writing prior to payment. That is very close to theft as far as I am concerned, especially when we have been so unhappy and distressed by the service given. I have tried to persuade them to give us a refund for the broken items, or at very least to apologise, but it's like talking to a brick wall. They have their money so they don't care. The customer doesn't matter. Life is too short to keep fighting them - but I do want to warn my neighbours and friends to steer clear of Casey's Removals - you are likely to have a very unhappy, and expensive, experience.
