Dist:0.4km<br/>This is the home ground of Resolven RFC (rugby football club). The club, founded in 1885, played on various grounds in the first few decades. This ground, their home since 1946, was donated by the Vaughan family of Rheola. Previously known as Tan-y-Rhiw Field, the ground was renamed in honour of their benefactors.

Though painted over, the inscription COUNTY POLICE STATION 1901 is still clearly visible above the doorway. The building is now a 4-bedroom private residence. The two police cells have been converted into an office and utility room.
