Dist:0.5km north<br/>A fragment of Radstock's industrial history. In the foreground are the rails mentioned in [[1186748]]. Clearly there was a level crossing here across Frome Road. The tracks ran through a cutting which is now a SNCI (Site of Nature Conservation Importance).

Dist:0.6km east<br/>Looking along the A362 toward Radstock. Writhlington was a mining village, coal was taken by tramway to Radstock then on the Radstock Tramway to Midford and onward by canal. Dist:0.6km north<br/>Housing in a northern suburb of Rdastock. The road leads to [[39467]]. As the sign indicates, this is the point where cycleway NCN24, which follows the line of the Somerset & Dorset Joint Railway along the Wellow Brook valley, leaves the road.
