Dist:0.5km<br/>A good few years ago, this station was rebuilt with the inevitable foreshortening of the line so that land could be sold for commercial gain, but making the station less convenient for passengers. It is now the principal station in Blackpool. I am tempted to say the ONLY station in Blackpool, as the splendid Blackpool Central was closed and demolished to be replaced by a shopping mall, and Blackpool South is a complete joke, and a bad one at that, as anyone who has ever used it will have found out.
