Dist:0.5km north<br/>Originally built in the 1820's as a house for Thomas Hall. It was later sold to Featherstone U.D.C. for the sum of £3,600 in the 1950s and was used as the Council Chambers. It has now been converted to flats.

Dist:0.5km north<br/>Once the grounds of Purston Hall, a Mansion House built in the 1820s for Thomas Hall and his family, the House and the grounds were later sold to Featherstone Council for £3,600, in the 1950s. The House later became the Council Offices and the grounds were turned into a public park, with boating lake, football pitches, bowling greens and children's play area. There is a wide expanse of grassland for leisure activities.
