With my home village (Upton Grey: http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1638351 ) cut off to all bar those who choose to own four-by-fours, there was no option but to walk to work (http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/171197 )... With the virgin snow anything up to 25cm deep, it was hard going, but stunning.
