The cable-stayed footbridge crosses the M621 Motorway and Moor Road. It was constructed in 2007/08 as part of the Leeds Inner Ring Road Stage 7B by Alfred McAlpine. The ramps and staircase are maintained by Leeds City Council whilst the cable-stayed part of the structure is the responsibility of the DfT Highways Agency.

Dist:0.1km north<br/>The underpass lies at the heart of the junction between the Leeds Inner Ring Road A61 and the M621 Motorway J4. The road junction was built in 2007/08 but 1:50,000 OS sheet has yet to be updated. The southbound M621 slip road passes over the northbound carriageway of Moor Road on the highly skewed tunnel, whose roof spans square between abutments - hence the triangular area of exposed concrete.

Dist:0.2km north<br/>The new bridge carries the Inner ring road over the Sheffield to Leeds main line as the Inner Ring Road diverges between Moor Road and the slip road onto the M621 Motorway. The bridge beams are of Cor-ten steel , which will never require painting. The road embankment on the left is supported by a reinforced earth retaining wall.
