This charming village occupies most of the square, the remainder being farmland. This is a view of the east side of the main road running through the village. This village is characterised by many old buildings, similar in style to this one.

The church occupies the inside corner of Church Corner, across which we are looking as two cars negotiate the sharp right turn at the top of the hill.

The church has its origins in the last 13th century and it was restored in 1870-72. It is built of Rubble stone.

The font dates from the 15th century. All the flowers and the flower arrangers tools are waiting for the ladies to decorate the church for a wedding tomorrow.

An old road sign on the wall of the facing house at [[1238609]]. There are red reflector studs embedded into the lettering of the word DANGER, and white ones in the SHARP TURN and in the arrow.

This Elizabeth II-reign postbox is set into the wall of [[1238594]] and is emptied finally at 4:45pm on weekdays and at 11:30am on Saturdays.
