Dist:0.2km<br/>The North Downs Way has ascended this dry valley from where the trees are, and looking back gives fine views. It then doubles back along the top of the slope on the left where the path can just be made out on the edge of the picture.

Dist:0.2km<br/>The North Downs Way has doubled back from the bottom of the valley on the extreme right of the photograph, this side of the trees. In doing so it gives the chance to savour the fine views, as well as see the sheep runs showing up in the sunlight on the chalk grassland.
