Dist:0.3km<br/>Chapel Point is an isolated rocky spit of land reaching out into the Atlantic - a spectacular setting for a small group of houses. Made from stone dug from the Point itself, they were built between 1933 and 1938 by John A Campbell.

Dist:0.3km<br/>View north-east across the beach to the houses on Chapel Point. So it's August Bank Holiday and you know just the place to get away from the crowds. After two miles of walking you arrive at the beach only to find its absolutely full! There were indeed no people on the beach, but we counted over a hundred cattle, most just sunbathing, some having a paddle, a couple of juveniles having a fight, a few youngsters drinking milk and one on the jet-ski just off shot to the right. It's not just us humans who have the herding instinct when going off for the day.
