Street lies between Walton Hill (an outpost of the Polden Hills) and Glastonbury Tor,some four or five miles away. Beyond the Tor on this cold and misty morning, the Mendip Hills can just be made out.

Dist:0.9km<br/>Developed in the early part of the 20th Century, these blocks of terraced houses are constructed of the local white lias stone and roofed in clay tiles. Typically, the attics were designed for outworkers for the Clarks shoe factory.
