Dist:0.4km<br/>High Bridge was made at Coalbrookdale works, and was constructed between 1829 and 1832. This single arch over the River Trent has a span of 140 feet with semi-octagonal piers supporting massive caps. On each side of the bridge, behind the abutments is a flight of steps.

[[[843350]]] This looks promising - taken directly from the pub's own website: "A well established country village pub just 5 miles from the City of Lichfield, pre-dating the Trent and Mersey canal with a warm and friendly welcome for all. The pub is situated directly on the canal at bridge 58, with easy access from the canal for boaters and walkers.
