Photo taken at the junction of Ilderton Road. The church meeting is at one of many non denominational churches in this area. They are often in non purpose built accommodation and the congregation is usually of African origin. Church-going seems much more widespread here than in many other parts of the UK.

This photo showing a 'tube' train crossing Surrey Canal Road was taken less than a fortnight before the East London Line was due to shut as part of the Underground network. It was replaced in 2008 by [[763074]]. The path on the right is a cycle track, probably on the line of the former canal towpath.

The beams of this new bridge were erected over the weekend of 12/13 April 2008, replacing [[632856]]. The road gets its name from the 19th century canal that it replaced.

The new depot is being built alongside [[763074]] and will house trains on the London Overground line which will replace the closed East London tube line.

Dist:1.0km west<br/>The museum was built in 1890 at 682 Old Kent Road, as "Camberwell Public Library, No. 1", a gift of George Livesey (born 1834), Company Secretary of the South Metropolitan Gas Company. It closed as a library in 1966, and was reopened in 1974, by Poet Laureate Sir John Betjeman, as an interactive children's museum.
