Dist:0.6km south<br/>The central line splits to Ealing Broadway and Ruislip lines beyond this station so passengers have to wait on the westbound platform on the left for the correct train. The middle train has arrived from central London and will return there; trains often wait on that platform for fifteen or twenty minutes until needed to fill a gap in the service. The train just arriving on the right will continue to central London. View from road bridge.

Dist:0.6km north<br/>This is a good place to begin or end and a walk along this interesting canal. Harlesden station is very close, and if you feel like a pint, the Grand Junction Arms is on the bridge.

Dist:0.6km south<br/>On this bank holiday weekend this part of the Central Line was closed. Standing by the eastbound platform of North Acton station is a train with wagons of stone for the track. The rail track on the left is a surface railway which has no regular use. Photo from the Chase Road bridge, with the Victoria road bridge at the top of the photo. The light blue building on the right is a hotel, to its right are BBC rehearsal studios, both in Victoria Road.
