I have been unable to find any information about this hospital and wonder if this pile of stones, some quite elaborately carved, is associated with an old building on the site. [[266044]] on the left of the picture.

Dist:0.4km<br/>Classed as a noxious weed in some areas because it is so invasive, this specimen just looked a bit exotic, given the time of year. Growing by the heap of stones at the bottom of Kennaways drive http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/266050.

Dist:0.4km<br/>Licensed to crenellate? This odd building stands at the junction of Stalisfield Road with Throwley Road. The original house is 16th century with some early 19th century alterations - presumably the gothic windows and the battlements.

Dist:0.4km<br/>This is marked on the map as a place of worship and looks like a Methodist Chapel but, given the name above the door, I doubt it is still used as such. It is certainly used as a community hall.
