Dist:0.8km<br/>Lodge Farm is just a house now. This field carried a footpath up to Bircher Common. The line of the path is actually through the dense shrubbery on the left, which hides a gully and old access road to the farm. In more picky places the wildlife rich hollow way would be cleared for the official line of the path. I do hope that this never happens here.
