Savoy Circus corner of Westway (A40) and Old Oak Road, where a Mecca bingo hall stood until recently. The junction was meant to upgraded into either a flyover or an underpass and dozens of properties were bulldozed, the government subsequently changed their mind.

A rather unusual way of dividing a road, it's not a dual carriageway as we would know it and you can only drive down the right hand lane as you look at it. It's only one way going away from the picture, yet on the left side is access to a few houses. This has to be about 100 yards/metres long.

Dist:1.0km south<br/>This small park is secluded from the busy and noisy B409 by trees all around. It is situated in the south eastern section of the grid square. This view is from the western side of the park.
