It leads from the A404 Pinner Road to the entrance to Northwood Cemetery, the entrance to which is out of shot on the right. It also provides access to the allotments, recreation ground and Northwood FC's football ground.

The land seems a bit flat for a Mountain Bike Centre ;-) The adjacent shop appears to have been a plumbing supplier and subsequently a sports shop, but looks to be vacant at present.

Dist:0.4km<br/>Located beside the entrance to Northwood Delivery Office on Pinner Road. Chalk writing on the path warns of the dangers involved in posting a letter - wet paint. I don't think any posties would be getting red fingers as they were on strike at the time.

Dist:0.4km<br/>FA Cup Qualifying Round 1 match in progress between Northwood FC and Wingate & Finchley FC. Behind is the Northwood main stand. On the right is an old cabin that serves the teas and pies that are traditional fare during the match. On the extreme right is the entrance. Both sets of fans use the same gate, which is the norm in this level of football. For those wishing to play spot-the-ball, it's behind the two players to the left of centre - you can see its shadow.

Dist:0.4km<br/>A 1920's addition to an earlier estate, this road along with Acre Way was built on part of Hundred Acre Farm, probably concurrently with the Northwood and Pinner War Memorial Hospital which opened in 1924.

Dist:0.5km<br/>A Metroline bus makes its way along the A404 with a rail replacement service for the Metropolitan Line, which was closed for engineering works over the weekend. Whilst the other trees are still very green, the Horse Chestnut on the right has a decidedly autumnal look to it.
