I should have read the notice more carefully before setting off to walk to Wiseman's Bridge, as it was not a Sunday and when we returned we found that the restaurant was closed!

Dist:0.5km north<br/>This headland of harder rock separates Coppet Hall which is the beach and car park area on the right of the photo from Saundersfoot just out of view on theleft of the photo. The pedestrian and cylcing track passes through this headland linking Coppet Hall to Saudnersfoot. The track through the short tunnel in the rock is the route of the old miners' railway track.

Dist:0.5km east<br/>This is the short tunnel next to Coppet Hall. The Victorian engineer no doubt did his sums and decided that a tunnel was cheaper than a deep cutting. The line is now a footpath and cycleway.

Dist:0.6km east<br/>There are several tunnels along the coastal walk from Wiseman's Bridge to Saundersfoot. Unlit and damp from drops falling on you to the puddles on the floor of the tunnels. This wonderful stretch of coastal path is only open subject to rock falls not occurring ... there is an alternative route signposted to climb over the cliffs which avoids the tunnels. The path was the line of the old miners' train track from the Victorian Grove Colliery and Kilerry Iron Works to the docks at Saundersfoot.
