Elaine Pygall Dance School
The ‘Elaine Pygall School of Dancing’ was established in January, 2005. It currently has over 250 students, ranging from 3 years up to adults. The school is based in the Prudhoe and Ovingham areas, Northumberland, at various Venues. It has two members of staff; Elaine Lilburn, the school’s principal and Stephanie Wright. Within the school we teach several techniques including Ballet, Tap, Disco, Modern Jazz, Contemporary and Hip Hop. Exams are taken with the International Dance Teachers Association. Performances are held regularly, either in class to view progression with class work, or as shows. For a free prospectus, to enrol your child, or to find out more information, please phone Elaine on 01670 732435. Alternatively, you can email her at principal@elainepygall.co.uk. Please note it is advisable to phone in advance of your child turning 3 years old as the school has large waiting lists for these classes.

Otterburn Hall Hotel Friends of the Orangutan-08/08/08
Dear Friends of the Orangutan,
You are among those who have a deep appreciation of the value of the orangutan, not only in itself but also as an ambassador for the most richly diverse regions on the planet, the rainforests of South East Asia, and the importance of these regions to the stability of our global climate, a point reiterated time and time again by scientists expert in the field.
Thanks to you, support has continued to grow for BOS and its efforts on behalf of the orangutan over the last 12 months. What we have achieved so far would have been impossible without you, but there is still so much more to do. You have signed petitions, sent letters to your MP and your supermarkets, told friends and family about the situation in Borneo and done your own fundraising in many shapes and forms; from Dominic Hammond making leather bracelets from off cuts of his fathers’ upholstery business and selling them to raise money for BOS to Andi Campbell-Waite jumping in an old Citroen and driving across many time zones to Morocco. It all means so, so much to the orang-utans and gives them what they do not have, a voice.
As you may all be aware, it costs approximately 1.2 million dollars per year to maintain the Nyaru Menteng sanctuary. Rescuing at-risk orang-utans and buying islands for orang-utans for whom it is time to move on from Forest School 2 to the next stage of the rehabilitation process are just some of the other costs for which Lone has to find funds.
With a view to continuing to raise the funds needed to maintain our work in Borneo, BOS would like to invite you to share in a concept, which we hope you will find as exciting as we do. BOS has decided to adopt 8th August 2008 as a Day for the Orang-utan, when we endeavour to bring together so many like-minded people in an effort to send a message to those involved in the unabated destruction of the rainforests, primarily for the production of palm oil.
Anything you can do will help. You can download our fundraising literature for hints, tips and ideas here.

The course at Walbottle Institue, Walbottle Village and is designed to help you understand how to lose weight, have loads of energy and how to keep the weight off. During the challenge you can lose weight any way you choose, so if you already have a plan that you know works for you then you can use that. Or if you need help and ideas of more effective ways to lose weight, you will have your own personal coach who will help you to find the right plan for you. We have a weekly weigh and a monthly measure, but this is all done in private, just between you and your coach and it's not shared with the group. Each week in the classes we will cover different topics, so you can learn, make some gradual changes and begin to make healthier choices. Your coach will support you throughout the whole 12 weeks both in the classes and at other times too. The cost for the full 12 week challenge is £39.00. There will be small weekly prizes and rewards and then there are the large cash prizes at the end of the course too, so as well as as all the health benefits it's an added incentive to lose weight.
