Don't know why they called it New Cheltenham, could have been wishful thinking.
Freezing Hill [[ST7271]] appears on the horizon to the right.

An attractive spot for what it is, the maturing trees do much to improve the appearance.

Dist:0.6km<br/>The eastern end, that is. New Cheltenham gives way to Siston Common on the other side of the roundabout as Cheltenham Road becomes Fisher Road.
Anchor Road is to the left and Tenniscourt Road to the right. Both of these roads were named after public houses (or vice versa).

The roundabout to the right is at the eastern end of Cheltenham Road which gives way to Fisher Road on the other side.

Dist:0.7km<br/>On Church Road, this C19 red brick and stone factory building consists of two adjoining blocks. What was its original use? http://www.heritagegateway.org.uk/Gateway/Results_Single.aspx?uid=MSG7299&resourceID=1007 It now contains a Furniture Project organisation and a training firm.
