Dist:0.5km<br/>The Nenthall War memorial records the names of the local men who died in the First World War (1914-18). It stands just before the bend in the road near the Nenthall bridge over the River Nent. Isaac's Tea Trail also crosses the road near the memorial, where walkers need to be alert to the dangers of road traffic.

Dist:0.5km<br/>The building with the black shutters was a former blacksmith's at Nenthall. It was once used to shoe the carriers' ponies used to transport lead ore to the smelters. Hazard warning chevrons alert road traffic of this sharp bend which is also a road junction. Isaac's Tea Trail (to and from Nenthead) also intersects the road here and walkers need to cross with care.
