Dist:0.1km<br/>The largest settlement in the parish of Chiddingly that grew up around a small green of the same name. Taken at the junction of Burgh Hill Road and the lane to Chiddingly. The houses on the right are Admas House and Westgates respectively.

Dist:0.1km<br/>Not sure when it was a school as it isn't marked on the 1875 OS map though the building does date back to the 17th century. On the same map the small field in the foreground seems to have been the remnants of the former green from which the settlement took its name.

Dist:0.2km<br/>Sunshine in this grid square but heavy showers a few grid squares to the north. The buildings in the foreground are in Muddles Green, that with the scaffolding is this, [[267457]]. The spire of Chiddingly church stands out amongst the grey clouds.

Dist:0.2km<br/>The name of the fields according to Chiddingly's 1839 tithe map that have been joined together sometime in the last thirty years, the two oaks at the far end of the current field being the only remnant of the former field boundary. South Field was to the left and Wood Field to the right.

Dist:0.2km<br/>The lane in muddles Green is not a major artery so I am assuming this was for tolls to use the turnpike that is now the A22 a little to the south of this hamlet. At one point this was also a shoe shop.

Dist:0.3km<br/>Built in 1887 and located on the corner of a sharp bend which was once a junction of lanes though the western route has now been reduced to the status of a footpath. A small sledging party is walking along the lane.

Dist:0.3km<br/>At the southern end of the hamlet with Rookery Cottage to the left and West View to the right. Both date from the 19th century and seem to have once been a number of smaller dwellings.
