The road steam/traction engine movement is wildly successful at engaging the youngsters and there is even a "steam apprentice club" with regular training days. If only those of us who run stationary steam engines could attract so many youngsters. Of course there are many child protection etc issues.

Local girls making an exhibition of themselves - all in the best possible taste. They were joined by some local kids for even more fun soon after. This local steam rally is an excellent and friendly event and a real photo opportunity.
