Burghfield Art Group provides a space for local artists to meet, and make and discuss their work in a friendly environment.

All members are encouraged to have a say in what they want from the group, such as teaching sessions, guest speakers, projects and exhibitions.

The group meets every Tuesday from 19:30 - 21:00 at The Parish Centre,
St. Mary's Church, Church lane,

Established in 1996 by Philip Larsson & Trevor Priest, Berkshire Tai Chi runs regular weekly classes in Tilehurst at the Denefield School, Long Lane, RG31 6XY.

A new class for the Over 50s is scheduled for 16th June 2010. This is an 8-week taster and goes from 15:30 - 16:30 on a Wednesday afternoon. The programme is run in conjunction with Age Concern and is free. A small charge will be levied after the 8 weeks have expired.

Berkshire Paranormal Group is a small group of people with an interest in the paranormal. We are a mix of skeptics and believers. We conduct investigations throughout Berkshire and beyond. Berkshire Tai Chi runs a weekly Balance for Life class in the Tythings, Reading Road, Yateley, GU46 7RP. Originally developed as part of the Government's Falls Prevention Programme, this class is supported by Yateley Town Council and local GPs. Ideal for older people or those with mobility problems, this class runs from 10:00 - 11:00 on a Thursday morning and is run on a pay-as-you-go basis. (£5 per session.)

The Samurai Fitness Group prides itself on its friendly, open and safe classes which include ‘Little Samurai’ a class solely for children aged from 4 to 6 and Young Samurai for children aged between 7 and 12.

Limited Little Samurai places are available at Pinder Hall in Cookham Rise on Saturdays from 9am to 9:45am.

The Samurai Fitness Group’s Chief Instructor (Matthew Collins) has over 12 years of martial arts experience with a black belt in Judo, Tae Kwon-do and Kickboxing. He has both academic teaching experience in the U.K and Japan and is certified in Child Protection and First Aid, is CRB checked and has public liability insurance. He also runs before and after school Little Samurai and Young Samurai classes in 7 local schools.
