Moor End Homepage


Sited on the A435 on the southern edge of Cheltenham, the hotel was originally the Lilleybrook Hotel built in the 19th century. It was almost derelict in the late 1970s/1980s before being restored and renamed.

Strowdes Lane was a medieval cart track to the old London Road at Balcarras, now a piece of tarmac on the Beeches Estate!

Timbercombe Bridleway runs up through Timbercombe onto Ravensgate Hill where you can join the Cotswold Way National Trail. The picture was taken about 100 metres from the A435.
