Dist:1.0km southwest<br/>A Cheshire County Council Mile Post set up alongside the A41 in 1896, so not in bad condition after 110 years of weather. Interesting to think that when it was first set up there were hardly any motor vehicles about, and now the A41 is a major route south with almost constant traffic passing by.
