Dist:0.4km<br/>This unique roadside stop on the southbound A1 was designed by Lincoln architect Sam Scorer, who specialised in this type of concrete hyperbolic paraboloid roof structure. It was constructed in the late 1950s as a petrol station (see http://twitpic.com/2e0ocr ) and Little Chef converted it in 1989. Sam Scorer died in 2003 and a copy of his obituary can be obtained in the restaurant.
