Dist:0.1km<br/>This Jewish cemetery was opened by Hull's Old Hebrew Congregation in 1935 as an extension to the Delhi Street cemetery (see [[[640505]]] – the Hebrew inscriptions are easier to make out on this picture). It contains 450 burials. The church visible in the background is St Giles' - pictured at [[[247247]]].

I believe (information from the internet) that the company went into receivership in 2006 and manufacturing went to the Hornby Group. Dist:0.2km<br/>Smoke continues to come from a warehouse fire at the Seven Seas factory more than 36 hours after it first broke out. Later on, the fire flared up yet again. Several years ago, the neaerby Humbrol factory suffered a major fire and the company has never traded since.

Dist:0.3km<br/>A train with imported coal is ready to leave the dock estate on the single running line while in the foreground lies the entry to the extensive sidings which were built principally to hold wagons full of export coal, shipped out via King George Dock until the early 1960's.
