Erected in 1887 in honour of Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee. Fed with Malvern water from the Holy Well, but by 1895 it was no longer working.

This years well-dressing theme is "Togetherness" and "The Darlingtons & Clares" dressed the fountain with many royal couples including of course the latest: William and Catherine.

He introduced a modern style of orchestration, influencing Bach, Mozart and Beethoven.

Dist:0.2km<br/>On a very frosty New Year's Day with the whole of the Midlands under an anti-cyclonic gloom. Note how the frost has changed the appearnce of the electric fence to that of white ropes.

The 1887 fountain has been rigged up as HMS Beagle and adorned with tropical plants representing the voyage taken in the years before Victoria's ascent to the throne.
There are also rocks, a nest, specimen boxes and a series of familiar figures showing the evolution from early primate to Queen Victoria.
