This monster carp approached me on the shore of [[1937082]], perhaps considering me for lunch. It reluctantly turned away when several Canada Geese also rolled up. Thanks to Dave Hitchborne and Rupert Fleetingly for identification.

The lake at Maisemore has geese, ducks, coot and moorhen. A woodpecker was drumming nearby, first I've heard this year.
