Dist:0.7km<br/>View looks southwards towards the centre of Abergavenny. The ridge on the left adjoins the main railway line and the long closed Abergavenny Junction station existed nearby. Further pillboxes can be seen in the top left. Hastily built in 1940 the embrasures indicate their prime role was to defend the road bridge over the River Gavenny should invasion have occurred.
