The foundation stone was laid on 30th July 1962, and the building was dedicated for use by the then Bishop of Chester on 15th September 1963. St Michael’s was originally a daughter church of St Bridget’s, West Kirby, but it became a parish in its own right in November 1984.

Dist:0.6km<br/>Little Neston Methodist Church on Mellock Lane. The Church was built in 1872 as a Primitive Methodist Chapel. Records show that the church buildings and furnishings cost £645, a considerable sum compared to the average farmworkers annual salary of £39.
