Dist:0.2km north<br/>Bilberry Hill is in the Lickey Hills Country Park. Together with its neighbours the hill is composed of Lickey Quartzite, one of the oldest rocks in the region. The Lickey Hills include some of the largest areas of bilberry and heather in the county. The hill in the distance is Beacon Hill. The open area in between is a golf course.

(Note the description "The Lickey" - a peculiarity of this area - similarly the nearby MG Rover factory at Longbridge was always referred to (in former times) as "The Austin")

Dist:0.4km north<br/>This is the Old School House, Lickey. Located at the top of the Lickey Hills at the Cross road junction of Monument Lane, Twatling Road, Old Birmingham Road and Rose Hill. The building was offered to 1st Lickey Scout group at some point pre 1976 and was used by them until the end of 2005 when the Lickey Church did not renew the lease and subsequently sold the building for offices. The church is just visible in the background to the left of the building through the trees in the church yard. The aerials on the building acted as a repeater station for local radio amaeturs.
