Trams in Middleton Woods.

As a tram fan I have seen photos when Leeds trams 'rattled' through Middleton Woods.I understand that if you look around, there are still traces to be found hidden in the undergrowth.
It was a big mistake during the 1950s,when Leeds gave up it's trams. We had the most reserved track in the UK-something that could still be in place today-if only we had retained the network and invested in new trams/track,etc.
If you have any memories of the 'bluebell' Middleton tramway I would very much like to hear via e-mail.I run an internet charity station Radio Poplar and if
posible would like to share those memories with our slowly growing listenership.Email at radiodays@talktalk.net

Local Charity Web Station.

Based at Bramley,Radio Poplar is the local reg.charity web station with a remit to provide a service of music, chat, the spoken word and helpful information to
people with a disability.
This year our Charity is celebrating it's Silver Jubilee, having started out as a local hospital radio charity in 1985.
We would very much like to work with care/respite/nursing homes within the Leeds area with a broadband connection.
