While I'm willing to put this near miss down to uselessness rather than malice, I think you should be warned that walkers face a hazard from incompetent golfers at this course.

If you find one when out walking please do not try to clamber over, this will certainly damage the wall and may damage you. Look for a suitable crossing place.

The jockey is hunched up on your shoulders getting his whip ready and breathing down your ne... UGH! His breath, that is foul, I've told him to give up the garlick before the race.
