Dist:0.4km<br/>Parish boundaries become confusing around the riverside at Boroughbridge. This pub is a few yards inside Langthorpe parish, whilst the other side of the road [behind camera] is in Milby parish. Most would just consider this to be part of Boroughbridge.

Dist:0.4km<br/>The navigation of the River Ure to Ripon has been improved in recent years. This is the Milby Cut which bypasses the weir at Boroughbridge. The Navigation was authorised in 1776.
