Dist:0.3km<br/>A rather striking egg-shaped relief on the wall of [[610493]], commemorating members of the well-known Devon family of Arscott. This is one of four Arscott memorials in the church (http://genuki.cs.ncl.ac.uk/DEV/Tetcott/Stabb-Tetcott.html ). Hoskins becomes quite carried away in his book "Devon": "There are magical overtones in the very words Arscott of Tetcott. They epitomise all the ancient Devonshire squires and their homes: the wind-flung rooks on December afternoons, branch-strewn parks emerging from curtains of fine rain, rambling, echoing stone-flagged houses set all alone at the end of muddy lanes, darkened by beeches and sycamores". Dist:0.3km<br/>The fine sandstone and granite west tower has decorated pinnacles. Access to the church is via footpaths, one of which passes the adjacent Manor.

Dist:1.4km south<br/>It's easy to miss the waymark for Tetcott Footpath 4, which runs along the foot of the wood. The obvious track climbs to this point at the top of the valley side, meeting this track which drops left to rejoin the footpath near The Mill.

Dist:1.5km northeast<br/>The field with the cattle is beside the lane between Tetcott and Clawton, and on the southwestern slopes of the valley of the Lana Lake, a tributary of the Tamar. As it crosses the square, the stream is bordered by a belt of woodland. Beyond, fields rise towards Belland, which is in SX3596.
