Dist:0.3km<br/>The footpath starts in Lunedale just a short way up Cote House Road from the Laithkirk viaduct on the Teesdale Railway Walk, and makes a bee-line for the road junction where the tiny and steep road to Botany goes off West Pasture Road. It seems to be surprisingly well-trodden by the standards of local footpaths, many of which are all but invisible on the ground.
