Victoria Park is on Windmill Hill in the Bedminster area of Bristol.

This unusual head is on the wall of a victorian brick built house on Hill Avenue in Bedminster Bristol facing Victoria Park and Windmill Hill. There is nothing on the house to indicate the identity of the man whose head appears here.

Dist:0.2km<br/>Having walked to work through Victoria Park for over four years I have enjoyed the changing seasons, wildlife and saying 'hello' to the regular dog walkers.

The area has noticeably improved thanks to a committed voluntary group called 'Victoria Park Action Group' (see link). VPAG have done a fantastic job of creating a cleaner, friendlier, safer and inviting urban space. There are now many park events, including a dog show, bonfire night and tree planting day.

Dist:0.2km<br/>A water feature in Victoria Park which was built in 1984 on the site of the 1190 pipeline (known as St Mary's Conduit) which brought clean water to Redcliffe from Knowle Hill. The maze also marks the opening of the Southern Foul Water Interceptor which brought and end to the discharging of raw sewage into the River Avon.

The houses in the background are at St Luke's Crescent and Pylle Hill Crescent.
