It could be a long walk on a rainy day down the slipway to catch the ferry across the River Wyre from Knott End to Fleetwood. Fortunately on this sunny day it was a pleasant stroll.

The sun struggles through and all is grey except the handrail on the ferry ramp and the sign on the lamp saying not to go any further (Ali really should take note even though I did ask her to walk down there).
