Trevor Place is sandwiched between Montpelier Square and Trevor Square. It runs towards Brompton Road but does not directly connect with it.

An attractive (and to the outsider, a classic London) terrace just off the Brompton Road and close to Harrod’s. The approximate date of construction was 1845/48 on land owned by Lord Dungannon. The architects were father and son WF and WW Pocock.

This stretch of the A4 heading into London from the west is always busy - the congestion not being helped by a string of taxis and cars turning right into Hans Road. The open top sightseeing bus stands outside Harrods.

Probably the best-known, and certainly most up-market, of London's great department stores Harrods originally opened in this location in 1849. The present building was designed by C W Stephens and work commenced in 1901. The famous baroque dome contains a water tank.
