Dist:0.3km<br/>A few years ago, my photographer position would have been in the middle of the road which now ends at the safety barrier in the picture. A new, wider and straighter road replaced this one, but today a dual carriageway has bypassed them both.

Dist:0.4km<br/>This bench on the side of the cricket pitch in Grove Park, is underneath a Black Popular tree (Populus canadensis). The female produces white cottony seeds. See [[1378277]] for a close-up. The mass of seeds looks similar to light fluffy snow.
