Over the years Argosy has become recognised as one of the London Borough of Hillingdon's foremost Amateur Theatre Companies, the group has successfully presented numerous productions to audiences throughout the area.
Argosy's talents have been successfully applied to many aspects of Theatre including Musicals, Comedies, Thrillers, Tragedy, and Pantomime.
Their main venue, at present, is the Compass Theatre in Ickenham which has proven very popular with audiences, and the annual pantomime is performed at the Winston Churchill Hall in Ruislip with its larger audience capacity.
Argosy are a friendly and informal group that has as their underlying principle to always give the best possible performances for their audiences. This is achieved by hard work throughout rehearsals in a casual atmosphere under the guidance of a director, supported by the committee and other club members.
Kabayan Project
A new learning and mentoring project based in Highbury N7. Majority of members are Filipinos but everyone is welcome. Other activities include volunteering with a view to employment and/or gaining accredited qualifications, cultural exchange, sharing of interest, socialising, and entrepreneurship.
