Dist:0.4km<br/>Selset Weir is a feature of the head of Grassholme Reservoir, it lies below the dam of Selset Reservoir which is partly in view at the left side of the image; water can be seen cascading from that reservoir into this. The weir allows water to fall in a controlled manner into the main part of Grassholme Reservoir which is clearly a little lower.

Dist:0.4km<br/>Grassholme is the most "developed" of the Teesdale reservoirs with a visitor centre and signposted paths (although most of the signs are telling you what you aren't allowed to do, always a little depressing). This very narrow bridge not only carries the road, but also walkers who can't completely circumnavigate the water owing to part now being a nature reserve. The water seems high on the arches - presumably the bridge predates the reservoir.
