Dist:0.3km<br/>This road was the main straight of the pre-war circuit, but became an access road to the aircraft engine works in World War 2. When the circuit was refurbished the track was moved to the other side of the building - I think this road continues to act as a spectator access route. There are more details of the old circuit on [[2019706]].

Dist:0.4km<br/>This picture was taken at the Save Donington event in March 2010. It shows the end of Coppice Corner and the view down Starkey's Straight. The circuit is in a poor state, with gravel traps and safety barriers removed and holes dug into the track. This was all done as part of works to bring the F1 Grand Prix to Donington. When they failed the circuit was left unable to hold races. http://www.motorsport-central.co.uk/donington_33.html
